A beautiful New Year

This time of year is very special - I truly
love it.  The anticipation of what is to come - some
I know, others to be a surprise.
The workroom is in very good shape
with a place for everything, and everything
in its place.  Well, just about. Clearing out before
Christmas worked very well, leaving just the tidying
to keep on top of after.
I have managed to do some sewing and already
sent out a couple of orders.
The feeling of being organised is being
treasured just now; who knows when it will
float away again?
But there's something missing - a new
calendar.  Well, actually,
I do have a calendar which came free
with a magazine, and many years
that has served me well enough.
But this year I would like a special one,
with hand drawn illustrations; one to
inspire and delight each day as I sit
in the workroom.
I've looked through Folksy, but none
seem right.
Etsy has hundreds and I'm trawling my
way through them.
I'm determined to have one before the end of January.
I hope everyone else is looking forward to this wonderful New Year too.

I agree, a whole year ahead to start something new perhaps.

I also love the feeling of being organised (although not always the case with me) it does make life easier as does a de clutter.

Love the blog background.

Hope the year brings you what you want x

What I don't understand Maypole, is how I let it get so messy in the first place! Laziness I guess.
The background is a Lucienne Day design - I love it too.

Maybe the sign of optomists Vivienne? Whatever, and just look at the wonderful blue sky we've been given this afternoon!

Sounds like your year has started wonderfully, Pam!

And I think that a new calendar is needed for a new year, too! New, white and EMPTY pages waiting to be filled with exciting things!

Happy weekend!

Yours,
Mia
